More About Your Luxury Treehouse Stay at Vivianna

A super deluxe, eco-friendly treehouse in a fairy-tale setting offering a magically, romantic and idyllic experience in the heart of rural England.

Designed and built by Award-Winning John and Nicki Beavan, Vivianna has been built using traditional methods and recycled, local materials. Nicki is a designer and John is a Christies and Sotheby’s listed cabinet maker; both have a reputation for innovative, sustainable design and superb quality.

Vivianna has been built slowly and carefully around the trunk of a majestic, living ash tree. The crown of the tree emerges through the thatched roof – branching out into a magnificent canopy over the treehouse.

On one side, the treehouse is supported by stilts. Elevated high above the ground, you have the feeling of being way up in in the tree.

Luxury treehouse in beautiful surroundings

Stepping inside the treehouse is like stepping into a fairytale. Vivainna’s large, arch-shaped entrance door swings open to reveal a huge living space – dominated, in the centre, by the striking trunk of the ash tree rising through the floor and disappearing out through the ceiling high above.

Sumptuous and opulent, light and airy, the living area, undeniably, has the wow factor – a beautiful circular space with multiple hand carved arched sash windows and a gleaming oak floor. Two huge circular sofas, with stunning, comfy cushions, face a flickering, log-effect fire, and in the dining area, there's a beautiful table, hand crafted from a nearby fallen tree trunk and topped with curved glass.

Atmospheric lighting is provided by LED candles and vases of fairy lights, soft throws and blankets are on hand for snuggling up. With toasty underfloor heating throughout Vivianna is a perfect retreat throughout the seasons.

One of the most striking aspects of this space (apart from the majestic tree growing up through the middle) is the bespoke kitchen. The cabinets flow around the space – with no hard corners or sharp edges. It has been designed with a reflective base, so that the units appear to float above the floor – adding to the magical atmosphere of the treehouse.

The curved cabinets contain a round sink, with hidden drawers and cupboards, that, glide smoothly and silently open when pushed gently.
