Are we able to have a legal wedding rather than a blessing at Treeopia?
Yes, Treeopia is fully licensed to hold legally binding weddings too.
Are we LGBTQ weddings welcome?
Treeopia is the perfect spot for anyone to tie the knot and everyone receives the warmest of welcomes.
How do we confirm our weddings with Treeopia and who books the ceremony with the celebrant?
We want to make your wedding planning as stress-free as possible. Book your celebrant or registrar with your preferred date, then match this with our availability and book.
How many guests can we have at our ceremony?
We have a maximum guest number of 12 including the wedding couple, responsible person, witnesses, photographer or any others.
If we just want to elope, do we still need witnesses?
No, all civil ceremonies do not require witnesses, only legally binding ceremonies with a registrar require two witnesses over the age of 18, we are working on gaining our Approved Premises licence, watch this space.
What happens if it rains?
Treeopia is stunning inside and has many photogenic features, you can also dress the Treehouse for your day.
Can I organise flowers and venue decorations for my wedding day?
Yes of course. you are more than welcome to decorate your treehouse, you can use a supplier from our local suppliers or you can use your own, all we ask for you to remove these on departure, or maybe keep a few special flowers and press these.
Who organises outside caterers and private chefs?
Take a look at our supplier list for some fabulous local recommendations to suit all tastes. We ask our couples to organise any outside catering or private chefs directly with the supplier so they are able to discuss options.
Do you have recommendations for a local photographer?
Yes, our suppliers list provides fantastic local photographers. Please do take a look at their websites and give them a call for a quote.
Are there places to sit and eat/drink around the grounds?
Yes, there is plenty of outdoor seating, should the weather not be on your side, then escape to inside your treehouse.
Can you accommodate overnight?
We love to refer your witnesses to Kyre Park for their accommodation, please contact directly kyreparkuk@gmail.com
Are we able to use our own photographer and supplies?
Yes, of course. We provide local suppliers who we know of and have been highly recommended, however, we are very happy for you to use your own.
